You can pay an additional $3 for some sort of interactive card that you go around with trying to solve clues but based on previous reviews we decided against doing that. I may be in the minority but I really did not enjoy Omega Mart at Area 15! Maybe I'm too old (49 years old) or maybe I just missed the point of it but for me personally, it was 2 hours of my life I'll never get back. You can view it as simply an art exhibit critiquing commercialism, or delve deeper into the narrative to discover so much more.and the people who work here are awesome! If you like escape rooms, puzzles, mysteries, sci-fi, role-playing, etc. My daughter was reading every scrap of info she could get her hands on, including practically every product in the store!! We thought it was all so clever and fun! Truly, you get out of it what you put into it. It's a big mystery that you are trying to solve, with many interactive parts to it! They say it takes 1-2 hours, but we were there for 4-5 all depends on how thorough you want to be. So much information to absorb, presented in a fresh and compelling manner. The amount of detail in the props and sets is staggering.there are journals to read, computer files to go through, logos and designs to analyze, video clips to watch, music to listen to, etc. Once on this path, you discover a richly detailed narrative that unfolds as you explore the hidden world behind the store. Then we talked to an employee who offered us a Boop Card that we could use ($3) to find out information on kiosks located throughout the store as part of our "training program" to become new employees of Omega Mart. We wandered around the grocery store for a little while, laughing at the products with funny names and ingredients, and noticing the strange fruits and odd signage. It's an interactive art exhibit, this is true, but it is SO MUCH MORE. Wow, amazing! This place is really hard to describe to someone who hasn't been here, but I'll try. ![]() This was a life-changing experience for me and my teenage daughter.
